The LTC Pharmacist is responsible for assisting with total operations of Collaborative Pharmacy Services. This includes technician supervision, order entry verification, review, approval, unit dosing, and packaging of unit dose boxes. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy

Required Licenses

• [Ohio, United States] Pharmacist
• Current registered Pharmacist license for the State of Ohio

Required Skills

• Knowledge of drug treatment, interaction, and administration. Knowledge of drug compounding Ability to interact professionally with patients, medical staff, and third party payers Ability to supervise others Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices Organizational skills Long Term Care Pharmacy experience is a plus Knowledge of controlled substance regulations Basic computer skills - Ability to use Microsoft Office
