GI TECH - BEAVERCREEK - ENDOSCOPY - FT/FIRST SHIFT
Beavercreek, OHJob Responsibilities:
- GI Technician (GI Tech) serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for assisting with patient care under the supervision of a professional nurse.
- The GI Tech performs nursing care skills that have been delegated by the licensed nurse.
- She/he plays an integral role in the patient care experience and both directly and indirectly impacts the perception of care.
- The GI Tech reports to the charge nurse or clinical manager.
- Paid On-Call is required for position.
Preferred Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Passes a pre-hire employment tests
- Successful completion of KHN GI Tech orientation
- GI endoscopy experience preferred in all aspecsts of endoscopy procedures
- Preferred minimum of 1 year experience as a GI Tech or Endoscopy
- GI scheduling of cases preferred
- Front desk and pre/post op care of patient preferred
- CPR certification
