IT ANALYST I - BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING - REMOTE - FT/DAYS

Responsibilities & Requirements
Utilizing agile and other applicable frameworks as a guide, IT Analyst I team members work as part of a collaborative team to solve customer issues and support mission-critical healthcare applications and systems. The IT Analyst I utilizes analytical thinking to understand and document new requirements and workflows with the goal of maximizing the value created for their customers. The IT Analyst I participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle including design, development, and test and performs other duties as assigned.
- Provide prompt support of customer issues, identifying the root cause and developing creative solutions to correct application problems. Consistently utilizes critical thinking and analytic abilities in seeking and resolving issues.
- Provide support for assigned applications by maintaining vendor recommended application version
- Maintain server health through patching, reboots, and supported software versions
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide off-hours application support
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational needs, risks and requirements of projects and enhancements. Gather, document, and analyze requirements (business, data, and integration) and workflow processes.
- Participate in the design process and complete the assigned tasks for development and unit/integration testing
- Develop and maintain application support documentation. Educate end-users and team members as needed.
Education
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience required
Experience
- 1 to 2 years of experience related to:
- ServiceNow – Exposure and usage of core ServiceNow platform (or similar platforms) tools like lists, reports, and workflows
- Process Management – preventive maintenance, asset lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance reporting.
- Data & Reporting – creating, analyzing, and managing reports (preventative maintenance completion, recalls, costs, warranties).
- Collaboration – Effective communication with IT, finance, supply chain, and external partners.
- Project & Process Improvement – Experience implementing upgrades, integrations, and identifying process efficiencies.
- Detail-Oriented – High accuracy in record management and adherence to procedures.

Certifications
- ServiceNow or Nuvolo certifications preferred or obtained with 1 year of hire.
