Kettering Health Main Campus

  • Kettering Health Main Campus, formerly Kettering Medical Center, is the flagship hospital of Kettering Health and has been serving Kettering, Ohio and the Greater Dayton area since 1964.
  • The facility includes the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Heart Hospital, maternity service with a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and level II Emergency Care.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assists Exercise Physiologist II with all aspects of the Sports Acceleration program to include initial assessment, instruction designing and implementing sport specific training and team training, assessing strength, power, flexibility, speed, and quickness
  • Operates all gym equipment and has computer knowledge
  • Promotes the services of sports medicine through public speaking, health fairs, and sporting events
  • Performs duties that commensurate with national certifications. Work is performed in areas where noise level requires raising your voice to be heard. Risk of exposure to infection exists. Volumes of work and time constraints are significant
  • Work involves interaction with outpatients. Hours can be irregular
  • Responsibility involves the maintenance of patient safety/well-being. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science required.
  • ECG competent
  • Current CPR certification
